My Story

My first ever Pilates class was many years ago in a dance college in South East London where I was training to become a professional Dancer. Reformer pilates was used to maintain our core strength and increase our flexibility as well as maintaining our posture and complete overall strengthening and toning for the entire body.

In 2010 I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer and I entered onto a very intensive treatment programme of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for almost 16 months. I came through everything feeling really drained and not being able to do any exercise that required to much intensity, I discovered Pilates. In 2016 I decided to train to be qualified at level 3 pilates and progressing my journey further to train in Reformer Pilates.

In June 2020 I set up a home studio where I teach Reformer Pilates which has given me my health back, my strength is amazing, it helps to destress my life with the combination of deep lateral breathing and I feel so delighted to help others get strong whether they are recovering from illness, injury or if they just want to do reformer to help keep their entire body strong. Reformer pilates is for everyone. Its incredibly rewarding!

Pilates should be a major part of everyones well being health program as the core and spine is the central powerhouse of the body. When maintained well it will help you achieve the core strength which in turn supports the spine and enables good posture and the right balance for body and mind.
